- Resident Advocacy Development Award
Funded by PathPAC's Political Education Fund (PEF), the Advocacy Development Award offers pathology residents a unique opportunity to attend the CAP’s Pathologists Leadership Summit and participate in Hill Day in Washington, DC. This award provides travel support, allowing recipients to develop leadership skills, engage in critical advocacy efforts, and network with established professionals in the field. Hill Day, a key component of the summit, involves meeting directly with Members of Congress and their staff to discuss and advocate for policies that impact the practice of pathology. By participating in Hill Day, residents gain firsthand experience in the legislative process, making their voices heard on Capitol Hill. Through these experiences, the award enhances their education and equips them to effectively address the challenges facing the practice of pathology. The deadline to submit your application is March 17, 2025.
Funding to cover travel expenses up to $1,500 is available for pathology residents to attend the Pathologists Leadership Summit (April 26-29, 2025; Washington, DC). The intent of this award is to support in-person meeting attendance.
