Description
In vivo microscopy (IVM) with optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging provides microscopic resolution over large tissue volumes, which can serve as a highly useful adjunct to traditional histopathology. In this webinar, we will discuss the utility of IVM in the early diagnosis and monitoring of pulmonary pathology. We will discuss how pathologists can be trained to interpret IVM imaging, using their existing histopathologic knowledge as a foundation. Finally, we will discuss how IVM could fit into the clinical workflow, what role pathologists would play in that workflow, and what benefits IVM would provide to patients, clinicians, and pathologists.

- Examine how pathologists can be trained in IVM image interpretation by building off their existing knowledge in histology.
